Screen and keyboard won't light up due to driver conflict in w7 update

Hi! I have a
Macbook pro from july 2011' 15” 2.2 i7 , it has
16gb RAM [2*8]
An OCZ Vertex 3 120 gb hdd

My problem: I installed a copy of w7 , on a partition with bootcamp, which worked fine for a month. Then after I installed an update, my dock appeared in the center so I decided to reboot into Os X. Upon restarting the laptop, the screen would not turn on as well as the keyboard lighting and functions [caps l key].
I ve been 2 weeks without a laptop which really sucks.
The mac chime can be heard etc
I tried all the mac startup commands as well as a smc reset and pram reset, I also tried taking out the ram and placing them back but no luck.
I'm guessing due to the keyboard not working the commands are ineffective, no luck and I'm out of ideas, I thought maybe reformatting the disk back to a full osx journaled format and trying an external keyboard? I m in possession of a bootable mac osx usb [for mb air].
Finally, the copy I installed was not genuine [I know] but if I manage to refix my laptop I'll stick to os X. I'm guessing the last update I did screwed up my drivers. I tried external monitor and shining through mac sign , checking connectors , so I really think its a driver issue or gpu conflict..

Any help is appreciated, thank you Texperts!!!

Was your MacBook Pro running Lion?
Can you boot to the Lion Recovery partition?
Try it by starting while holding command-R
If that is successful, then you can go to Disk Utility, then erase your hard drive. You can also remove the Windows partition, if you like. The recovery partition does not even need to be on your hard drive for this to work, as your MacBook Pro will connect to your internet connection, and download everything from Apple's servers.

First off thank you Deltamac for taking the time to help me!!
I took the ssd and used disk utility on sisters mac to reformat drive to osx journalled, also performed check/repair.. All good. Plugged it in the mbp, still nothing. I tried Command R whilst connected to ethernet port but nothing happened. Tried it accordingly with a mac wired external keyboard, a wireless mac keyboard and a random external non mac keyboard .. No luck on any and the wired ext mac kb doesn't show light in caps lock. The only development further was that I noticed that when I unplug and plug the battery unit, and , the magsafe adapter the mbp boots up on its own.. Like the fans start spinning the stop then spin again and I hear the chime boot all without pressing the start button. Maybe its a battery problem or worse logic board issue.. The final resort would b to go the belgian mac reseller here. BBut I've had bad experience with them where they said like yea pay 30 euro and the next day they said u nneed to replace all the parts of the laptop [which later turned out not to be the case] in an amount of 1700euros basically the retail price I payed. Anyhoo, thank you for your help Deltamac and the support of the macosx site.
