Screen Switcher

A friend of mine bought a Mac for his business and had some guy set everything up for him. He has a neat feature I'd like to know what it is.

The left most part of the right hand part of the menu (like just to the left of the speaker or clock) has four window icons. He can click them and the screen rotates around to four different screens.

Anyone know what that is?

I think you are talking about Fast User Switching. The person has several accounts on one computer/network settings (in each user account). This has been there since 10.3.

Satcomer: I use fast user switching. It requiers a password to switch, there are no icons, and you can only switch to other users. What my friend has does not require passwords, has icons, and switches within the same user.

Leydog: Thanks. That looks like it -- I don't see the icons in the menu bar but that may be user configurable or something.
