Security Update 9-30-04

Having a problem after installing this update. Eudora won't retrieve mail. Get an error -3260.

Has to be the security update. Eudora works fine on another machine with the same system, but not the Security update.

My iBook woudl refuse to automatically connect to AirPort networks listed in DoNotAsk array of ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.airport.plist but now for some reason it works properly. I think the security update muddled around with a few things...

I was also unable to only download the update `sudo softwareupdate -d -a`, reaching 50. it crashes on both my machines.

I have had nothing but problems with iDisk and Finder since the last updates on September 30th. My computer has frozen up 3 times in the past 4 days and i have no idea what i am supposed to do about it. i called apple and apparently they will walk me through the fix for a mere 50 bux. anyone have a clue what i can do myself to remedy this situation?

I had only the Eudora problem, but it's working now. Don't know what actually fixed it. Repaired Permissions and Disk, didn't help. Trashed Eudora and plist files, didn't help. Logged in as Root and had the same problem. Logged into my account and it worked.
