Brand new install of OSX Server 10.5 on my PPC G5 dual 2.5ghz with 7 gigs of RAM.
When I try to log in to my server preferences control panel from the machine itself I get the following error:
"Server cannot be found on the network
Check that the server hostname you've provided is valid or try again later."
I am using the correct server name xxx.private
I use either the admin full name or short name, neither work.
I have made no changes to the network.
I installed several users during installation.
They don't show up in the users of the regular system preferences.
I have searched all over the net and can find nothing.
