For a while now, my system has been brought to its knees. The console shows zillions of messages like these:
Just after those two, I issued:
No more console messages. Other than OpenLDAP, which I tried to remove, is there anything else that might be adversely affected?

$ sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.openldap.slapd.plist
