I have a G4 Powermac on my home network alongside several Windows PCs. The G4 internet access has slowed to a crawl for no apparent reason. The windows PCs are all fine. I've done the usual - repaired permissions, restarted the router, plugged the ethernet cable into a different port on the router etc, to no avail - the other software on the G4 appears normal and speedy as usual, its just the Internet access which is dreadful. Running Tiger 10.4.3 and all mac software updated to latest. Tried Safari and Explorer for mac - both painfully slow loading webpages, so its not the browsers. Cleared the cache, reset the ethernet link, tried manual ethernet instead of automatic. No joy.
