Software Update and 802.11n Enabler.

Hey,

My Software Update stopped working around the same time that I downloaded and installed the 802.11n Enabler software. Maybe this was a mistake, however I really didn't think either way when I installed it. Software Update says "Failed. Could not connect to the Internet." whenever I try to use it. I know this can't be right since I am connected to the Internet right now without issue.

I have a 2 Ghz MacBook running 10.4.11. Help!

Can you get on the internet through a browser such as Safari?

Do you have a firewall enabled? Are you using anything like Little Snitch or any kind of port/packet sniffer?

Yes, I am using Little Snitch, although I thought it was included in the list of default exceptions included with the app.

Should I modify Little Snitch in some way?

Try disabling Little Snitch and see if that works -- if so, then we'll know that it's Little Snitch causing the problems, and can then try and modify Little Snitch to allow Software Updates.

Yes! Turning off Little Snitch worked. Is there anyway to let the two co-exist?
