Sony Clie TH55 Data transfer crashes MacOSX

Hi,

i have a Cony Clie TH55. Sync does work without problems. But when i try to transfer data from my iBook G4 (MaxOSX 10.3.9) to the Palm i get a kernel panic and have to restart the iBook. Is this a common problem? What can i do to get the data transfer working?

No, this is not common. I used a TH55 on my G4's without any problem. Are you using Missing Sync to transfer? If so, what version of Missing Sync? Do you have the UK or US version of the TH55 (there is a slight difference in the ROM between the two systems, one supports Bluetooth and WiFi, the other is just WiFi)?
 
Is there a other solution than using Missing Sync? It does not work with Missing Sync 4.0.0 and for 4.0.1 you have to pay...
