Startup Time

I have a 2.66 Mac Intel, running 10.5.7, and noticed the startup time from
the chime is 28 seconds. Is this about right? Just wondered what you guys
were getting. I know it doesn't make much difference, just curious.
 
That sounds about right.

It could be faster (with a very light installation of OS X) and it could be slower (with a tricked-out, heavily loaded installation of OS X).
