Stupid irritating popup ads!!!!!

Sure wish you would get rid of the very irritating and distracting popup ads. 99% of the time I don't read them and right now I couldn't tell you what they were about!!!!!

Do you have the Safari Adblock installed? Are you using Safari or Firefox?

I don't really ever get popups on my laptop, but on iPhone it does really piss me off that I have to click out of an ad that takes up my entire screen every time I change a webpage. Then half the time I miss the X to exit out of the ad and then it brings me to a new webpage.

Yes, I have ad block up on in safari, I turned it off and back on but no change.

Do you have a site with pop-up adds? I want to see if I see a pop-up.

Macosx.com is where the popups show up, here in the forum.

Do you mean the Kontera contextual ads - that popup when you mouse across the context words?
You disable those at the Kontera site link. I must have tried to disable several dozen times, and (finally) haven't seen any Kontera popups for a couple of weeks. Maybe they fixed that "disable" command so that it sticks.

Something is very wrong with your OS X. I say this because MacOSX.com doesn't have any pop-ups, that I have seen. So if you are using 10.6.8 then check your Trojan protection is up to date using Safe Download Version.

Then check your DNS settings and make sure you are using the correct DNS.

I use FireFox with Adblock Plus and never see pop-up ads.
