Swap in dual-layer superdrive?

I'd like to get one of the new dual-layer-DVD-burning Superdrives for my G5.

Does anyone know:

(A) what make & model that drive is
(B) where's a good place to order one and
(C) Will it work in my 2004 G5, or not?

The new G5s are shipped with the Pioneer DVR 109 which is a dual layer burner. I am upgrading a first generation dual 2ghz G5. I ordered the DVR 109 from Other World Computing at

I was told by a tecchi from this site that I could install the drive with no extra software. I will let you know how it works. There is a patchIf it doesn't work there is a program at http://www.patchburn.de/ that offers a patch to allow older macs to recognize newer drivers.

The Pioneer DVR-109 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger." No extra software, drivers or system modifications are necessary. Simply plug it in and you're good to go!
