Systemworks 3.0 installation stalls

Greetings,

When I tried to use Norton Utilities (Systemworks 3.0) a dialog box said that files were missing and to reinstall from disk. I did an uninstall. And tried to reinstall. The installation keeps stalling with a minute to go at the point "Installing SymDC."
Any ideas?

Using OS10.4.8 on a G4 with loads of ram and hard drive space.

Why would you use a product that was discontinued in early 2004? They axed it because it wrecked so many OS X installations.

Norton SystemWorks 3.0 is not supported under MacOS X 10.4 and is incompatible with your version of MacOS X.
