Terminal Tutorial Backfired, Can't Unmount Devices

I just tried following this tutorial here and failed hard.

Regrettably I got stuck mid way through and now I'm noticing a couple of problems with my external HDD I currently have mounted as well as when I try and mount my flash drive.

I used to have Read/Write abilities on my external HDD and now I only have Read. On top of this, when I try to eject any device the system hangs and I can't even force eject them. If anyone has any experience or tips on what my options are to restore these abilities I'd greatly appreciate the help.

Here's a screen shot of what happens when I try to eject a device:

I don't know if this will help or not but if anyone is decent at Terminal all I need is a way I can regain Write permissions with external devices and such. Other wise I might have to reformat and lose everything.

Delete that script because when this hint was made OS X Terminal was using a different Shell (tsch). However today it using Bash. So delete that scipt and reboot.

Sounds great but I am very novice at Terminal (I swear when I fix this to never put stuff into Terminal again!) so would someone mind explaining how to delete a script I've entered? I'm not having any luck with google yet.
