This is not good...

This is the message I get from Disk Utility for my other HD. I had to install 10.4 on my backup just to write this. This occured directly after I tried to restart my computer after installing the newest 10.4 update from software update. Help?

You drive is dying a slowww death. Back it up now ASAP. The only good OS X disk utilities are Alsoft's DiskWarrior(not universal yet) and Micromat's TechTool Pro.

WARNING to all who read this: Norton Utilities was discontinued in 2004 on a Mac because it caused so many problems for OS X.

That's frustrating to hear as the HD in which 10.4 is installed on is a relatively new 160 GB HD. Although it is actually around 128 GB because I am using a older G4 machine which does not have a newer PCI card.
