Tiger & Java ... I'm hurt

Hello

If you refer to the newly updated Tiger's Java page:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/java/

you will notice that Apple keeps using 1.4.2 and not Java 1.5.
I believed that Java 1.5 would ship with Tiger :'( I am so sad now !
Will we have to wait longer to get Java 1.5 on Mac ? (at least we will have time to kill with Tiger's new features).

the apple dev site has a 1.5 preview that is lists Tiger as the system requirement. Thats probably part of where you saw it.

Yep. Final Candidate 1 was seeded some two days ago. It looks like they want to have the download ready on the 29th, if I interpret the message below the download correctly.

Tiger is out and a 1.5 preview is availible for download and works great.
