Tinker Tool has caused big problem!

I just downloaded Tinker Tool on my new Al PowerBook G4 and it has done something very bad to the Finder.

When I move any icon on the desktop it disappears! It is actually still there but just turns invisible!

I have tried the reset feature in Tinker Tools but it hasn't helped. How can I repair this problem?

See this movie file for a screen capture of what happens.

ahhhh now im scared. is this the new tinkertool that just came out?

i dont want to mess up my system. post a review on versiontracker!

hrm...just checked reviews, and people with panther said it was fine....im going to install it and if anything bad happens, ill post back, if all goes well, you wont hear from me

this has already been reported. Just delete the file com.apple.finder.plist (in your user/library/preferences folder)
Then logout and logback in. Fixed..
I had no problem like this. changing most settings in TinkerTool forces a restart of the Finder, and probably exacerbates a small corruption in that file.

hrm...i lied...(it came up in my email edition).....everything went fine (running panther 7B80).....its cool
