Hi,

I seem to be having problems burning MPEG1, or whats called
MPEG1-MUXED video files to dvd using Toast 7.0.1

I was wondering if anyone else had or is currently having this problem? if so, is there a fix?

I'm sorry, I forgot to add some information. I want to burn the
files to dvd+/- disc. I'm using a Sony DRX-720UL/T external
dvd/cdr burner. All AVI,MOV,DIVIX,files will burn with no problem,
everything except MPEG1.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to setup Toast to convert
these files?

Have you had any luck getting it to play a dvd movie? I have a Sony DRX-810UL-T and to my dismay the toast 6 software wont play a dvd movie... anyone got any ideas please?
 
Toast (of any persuasion) doesn't PLAY movies. It BURNS movies.
That may be why it is called "Toast."

If you want to PLAY a movie, try DVD Player or VLC Media Player.
 
Thanks... just thought good 'ol Sony would have made it possible to play a dvd too. I have OS X 10.2 & VLC needs 10.3 so I have learned I can install this as I have 10.4 on DVD using target mode from another mac (it won't install via the external Sony). Thanks again.
