Tracking Mail Bcc Recipients -- is it possible?

Is there a way after sending an email to review the names of recipients when they are sent as blind copies?

At times I send mailings to different groups of people and later wish to remember which people got what. I've not found a way to review the list of names I sent to and wish that capacity was included, if it isn't.

Any ideas or How to's?

Thanks!

No response? Must mean this isn't possible? How does one make a suggestion the Tiger developers about a feature that would be so helpful to have -- and probably not that difficult to write code to do??

I suppose you could write a PHP form to send the mail that would store all the addresses you send it to in another file... if you're willing to send mail outside your usual client, you might consider something like this.

Ohhhkaaay then, you're talking a language I don't know. What's a PHP? How do I "write" one? Before I transferred to using Mail as my mail program, I used Netscape mail and it was so very easy to track back. Just open the sent file and as the sender, and only as the sender, the Bcc recipent names would all appear. Rather disappointing that it's not included in some release of system software, sometime. Thanks for your comments/suggestions.

Mail > Preferences > Viewing > "Show header detail:" > All

Does this help? It expands the header file of the messages to show additional information... I don't use BCCs, so perhaps that's why it's not showing that field on my computer.

Edit: yep, I just tried it, and it does indeed show the Bcc information.
