Transfer QuickTime Pro 7

Well I got another new laptop, latest series G4 Powerbook. And when I migrated my data from my old one, QuickTime is Pro on my old one, but regular on my new one? Any ideas on how to switch the license. I dont actually have the license information because QT Pro came on my computer originally, so I dont know where I would go about finding the serial on my laptop.

Any help would be appreciated.

Launch the QuickTime Player. Select the QuickTime>Registration... menu item. You can redundant with clicking the Register tab of the QuickTime preferences pane. You can also find your QuickTime Pro serial number under your account on Apple's web site.

If your old computer has QuickTime 6 (or earlier), and the new one has QuickTime 7, then you must purchase a new license. Licenses between major versions (eg, 5 -> 6, or 6 -> 7) don't transfer and require the purchase of a new $30 license.
