trying to install microsoft office and i keep getting this error can anyone help

Yes, but what is actually happening? Is the MS Office installer saying something (I can't remember, is there an installer, or is it drag/drop?) during the installation before or after it crashes? Is it crashing at a certain point?

Do you have any Adobe products installed? My version of Office X seems to conflict with Acrobat for some odd reason. The solution was to trash the Office folder and reinstall Office.
