Trying to Stream

Ok, So i've recently come across the greatest stream I have ever seen in my life and I want to have that kind of stream also SO

Info: I am using an iMac i5 quad core with version Mac OSX v10.6.5

The website I want to stream from is: www.Own3D.tv

The website requires that I use a specific broadcaster program known as: XSplit Broadcaster.

The file I downloaded is: xsplit_installer.msi.

When I try to open it the icon looks like a blank sheet of paper and then a thing pops up saying "There is no default application specified to open the document xsplit_installer.msi.

Is it possible to find something to use this? Or do I need to partition my harddrive and get windows 7 or xp or something on half of this mac?

What you've downloaded is the software for a Windows machine (the .msi extension means "Microsoft Installer").

You can do one of two things:

1) Install Windows 7 or XP on your Mac
2) Check with the website to see if they offer a Macintosh version of that software
