Twitter clients not displaying avatars

I've finally got to the end of my tether on this one. I have a Macbook running 10.6.7. I use Twitter a lot both professionally and socially, but avatars don't display on any of the clients I have installed. I have Twitter for Mac, Tweetdeck, and Tweetie but they all have the same problem....

I didn't used to have this problem and am not aware of changing anything, although it is a possibility that my son has.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be hugely grateful.

OK....I had a brain wave. I had K9 installed for web security for the kids. I've uninstalled and everything now works.....now I just need to work out another way of protecting the kiddies.

Then think about using OpenDNS (Don't worry they have European servers too). They have instructional video to show you how you can block the bad things on the net and it might speed up your surfing too.
