have you updated to 10.0.3? (probably a stupid question, but the update only came out last week...)
Otherwise I don't really know what to say...I see you're running Jaguar on software that was really made for OS 9 but was ported to 10.1... keep in mind that big carbonized programs (Adobe's especially thanks to some really old code) are easily left to have 10.1/10.2 bugs like that because it's an easy kind of bug to overlook...I would imagine that the 10.0.3 update might fix your problem because it came out after Jaguar was released, but I'm not sure.
Maybe if you have Classic installed you can boot in that, select a printer and then try in OS X again. Or switch to another printer in Print Center, switch back to your normal one and try printing again...If that doesn't work, sorry, I'm sure somebody else can help.
