THE COMMAND IS UMASK not UNMASK
THANKS TO DELTAMAC
------------------------------------------
Maverick 10.9.3
using terminal.
system doesn't recognize unmask command.
even does find a man page for it.
I tried several ways as seen in my screen capture.
I tried using caps even though OSX isn't supposed to be case sensitive for commands.
even tried using full path of command.
unmask is supposed to be a built in command.
Totally confused. SEE CAPTURE ATTACHED.

I uploaded a png file but don't see any indication of it in preview-Is it attached?
If not I'll try again.

Can you explain what unmask is supposed to do?

There isn't a command named unmask, as far as I know - at least not a BSD command.
Maybe you mean umask?
