Hi guys. i'm really stuck here
I've not had much experience with macs generally find my way around but this has stumped me.
at work ive got a macbook pro returned from an ex employee. created a new account, logged into the new account, deleted the old account and now i have a boot loop.
i get to the apple screen with a spinning pin wheel below it.
have tried cmd-s, cmd-v, cmd-c (with a ubuntu cd in the drive). and it changes nothing.
the machine powers on, goes *bong* then white screen, then apple screen with spinning pinwheel. initially it was restarting but now it just seems to be stuck.
any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm presuming its some kind of permissions issue with the new user account but i really dont want to have to format the machine since nobody knows where the disks are for either OSX or office for mac.
