Use of a PCI TAXI2 card on a Mac G5

Hi !

Lately I purchased a digital back (complete set "LEAF CANTARE XY") for my camera.

The software worked before on Mac Powerbook G3, it runs (also) on OS X (I have 10.5.6)

My G5 has 3 PCI-slots free.

I thought the PCI-card (included in the set) would fit into one of these slots... But no...

The card has a 9-pins (female connector) D-Sub exit-connector, to connect the cable for the digital back.

My question: since the PCI-card doe snot really fit (on a normal way) into the PCI-slot of my G5...
How can I connect this card on my G5, or do I have to buy some other PCI-card...
Which would be bizarre, since the card was designed for Mac...

Kind regards, Herman.

There are different kinds of PCI bus architectures used in Macs released in the last few years: PCI, PCI-X, and PCIe.

If your card is PCI, and your G5 has PCI-X slots, for example, then they're not compatible.

What kind of PCI slots does your G5 have? What kind of PCI card is it?
