Using Fios with Mac mail 3.6

I recently switched to an iMac and also in the process switched to verizon fios. I have been unable to get the email set up in the mac mail. Everything looks correct, however nothing will send...i think it has also stopped receiving email as well. Any help is appreciated!!
 
What does the Verizon FiOS mail setup say you're supposed to set the settings to, and what do you actually have your settings set to?
 
Go to your Verzion FIOS web page and do a search for email settings. When you find the email SMTP/POP or IMAP server addresses open the application Mail, then go to Preferences. Mail's Preferences will come up click on the top pane item "Accounts". Here make a new account and put in the email server settings you got from Verizon.
