Using new iMac and MBP with Thunderbolt

I have a brand new iMac and a very new MBP. Both have the Thunderbolt ports.

I am looking for the "step-by-step" process on how to use and hook-up the two, through a Thunderbolt cable so that I can use the 27" IMac as the display for my MBP.

Looking for what steps you do to get this going.
