Very low sound from internal speakers

hi all,
the volume from my internal speakers of my Powermac G4 has gone really low, the volume is set to the max but I'm still struggling to hear it, its a work computer and they wont allow me headphones or external speakers to plug in, any ideas what the problem could be??

Reset your Pram with nothing attached at the time. See if that helps. Good Luck.
