hey all
i just recieved virtual pc 7 and i have windows XP pro with it.
but when it loads the mouse within virtual pc will not move.
so i checked the usb settings and enabled my logitech dual wireless mouse.
and that still didn't work.

so i tryed my crappy apple mouse and that also doesn't work

so does anyone know how to use a usb mouse with virtual PC 7??

Didn't you have the mouse during the winxp installation? It should work by default.
Check system devices on winxp to see, if there is any such device listed. It might be listed under 'human interface' (or something like that). I think winxp messed up with it. (as usual) ;)

Be sure you have installed the Virtual PC "additions" they definitely effect mouse behavior. By-the-way one of the "fixes" in Virtual PC 7.0.1 is improved USB and it seems logical to me that would impact mouse behavior

I don't see anything about improved USB support in VPC 7.0.1, but I could be missing it somewhere -- the page you linked to says that the update "improves overall stability" and addresses the issue of having more than 2GB of RAM in a G5...

Even if you disable USB devices in VirtualPC's options for a particular virtual machine, your USB keyboard and USB mouse should function fine. There is a note in the readme included with the 7.0.1 update that says that not all USB devices, mice in particular, can be supported -- I wouldn't think that a Logitech mouse would be one of the unsupported mice since they're so popular, but again, it very well may be that.
