Volume Structures

Is it me, or is my imagination. Beginning with OS 8, through OS X (on a different machine) I seem to have chronic problems with incorrect Volume Structures or bit map leafs. Hardly a time goes by that I run a scan for disk repair utility (even as little as a day apart), that one of these issues needs to be address and corrected.

I'm I sending up bad bit map karma, bad volume vibes?

I have noticed this as well... I have no clue as to whether it's something I'm doing, or whether it's the OS that is causing this.

I don't think I notice it every day, but it's something that I address at least once or twice a month.

Well I'm glad for the impression that it's not me. I'd feel better, however, if Apple (or another reliable source) would address the particulars of this issue.
