Wallpaper changes by itself!?

I just got a MacBook about two weeks ago. I migrated all my settings etc. form my old G4. Here is the problem: When I go to set a new background picture on my desktop, it seems to work fine and the picture becomes my background. However, every single time, no matter what picture I select, within one minute of setting my background picture a new different image has been set as my background instead of the one I just selected. The image that keeps getting set as my background is definitely not one of my pictures. It's a map of the world, it almost looks like a map from the weather channel, and it says "unlicensed" all over it. What is unlicensed? Why this is happening?
Thanks in advance...

Go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screensaver > Desktop.

In that window you'll have the selection for individual desktop, and how often to change it. Is the "Change picture every ---- " selected? Deselect it, or change the fequency when it is changed, close the preferences and done.

Thanks for your response Giaguara. It seems that there was a program opening 'at login' and stopping this helped. I am not sure where the program came form though, or how to find and delete it for good. Any suggestions?
