Hi all,

Just joined the fun having purchased my first Mac after being a PC 3D artist for-ever.... Should have done it years ago. The final straw was another lost Harddrive due to a virus costing me hours of work and hundreds of pounds.

Quick new-Mac-user question. I need to automate the opening of Real player to a BBC radio program everyday. How do I do it on a MAC? Does this require automator or is there some other way?

Yes an either Automator or AppleScript can do this however you need to be just a little knowledgeable of either one of these programs. Then put either of these scripts in Login Items (in you System Preference for Accounts). Warning though, using an internet protocol during login can seriously slow down the login process.
