What graphics card? (Mac Newb)

Graphics cards for the PowerMac G5 are few and far between. The original vid card might be fine if it's one with two DVI ports. All vid cards provided with the G5 will support 2 monitors. Some have 1 DVI, and one ADC port (Apple's proprietary connector, not simple to find adapters for that), hopefully your dual 2.0 GHz will have one with dual DVI connectors. The PowerMac needs a video card that originally sold for use with Apple computers, or one with an Apple-compatible ROM on the card. You can find cards that are advertised as Mac compatible, but they will often be PC/Windows cards that have been flashed with a Mac ROM. Mostly, those might work, but often are unreliable. A good place to look is www.macsales.com
Or, xlr8yourmac.com is another site with good info about replacement video cards, and other upgrade info.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but if that's the model with PCI-Express slots (not PCIe slots), then finding a graphics card to fit it is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack: very, very difficult and potentially very expensive. That machine MAY have an AGP port -- I'm not sure about this. I just worked on one two weeks ago and had to install an old PCI video card (Rage 128 -- OMG!) because I didn't have any DVI monitors nor adapters to test with.

While any old Mac-specific PCI card can be used, it will be much slower than the PCI-X card already installed in the machine.
