What's a USB monitor?

I remember Classic's extension manager had a few listingins for Apple USB Monitor support.

I've never seen a monitor that is connectable through USB, can someone post a link or two? I've made a few searches but haven't turned up anything.

I'm curious because my iBook Graphite SE has no video out ports, just one USB... Heck, even a USB -> RCA/S-Video adaptor would suffice, if such a thing exists..

I think you'll find its to support the USB hub built into ADC monitors.

Yup. It's for the USB hub in monitors.

Interestingly enough, though, a USB->RCA video out (for your TV) thingy DOES exist. They were made back in the day for old iBooks, but I dunno if they're made anymore.

Cool I'll have a look around for a USB-> RCA converter. I know there's an ADC->RCA/SVid (I have one for my iMac) but I don't have an ADC on my iBook.

Hey cool, it looks like it doesn't do straight vidoe mirroring though (for things like presentations or just plan old on-screen instruction) but it's a great start, thanks!
