Why can't I add artwork to an ogg?

Hi,

I just added an ogg file to my iTunes. But I can't add artwork to it. Same problem as with this guy: http://emandtim.no-ip.com/tim/weblog/2004/12/itunes_album_ar.php. Why ever not? One possible clue is that the Info describes it as Quicktime movie file.

Any insights here?

Have you tried changing it to an iTunes file using Get Info? (Open with... iTunes.) You can also change the suffix to .aiff from Name and Extension.

AFAIK, iTunes does not support OGG files.

Does the file play correctly in iTunes?

I can play back streamed oggs with iTunes, but not on the Whamb player with which I recorded them.

I can play ogg files. I followed the advice on a site I found with google, editing the info.plist, putting an ogg file into the qt library, etc. I would just like to be able to put some artwork there.
