Wild speculation and nonsense: 10.X for HP-PC

Well it looks like it's official. HP and Apple will be teaming up In January again. HP will be preinstalling MAC OSX for PC on a few of their consumer level machines. My prediction is that we probably won't be hearing anything at Paris Expo, but I could be wrong. I am not sure if the January announcement will be for a beta version that will be installed or the actuall product. This is supposedly meant only for consumers and as another revenue stream for HP. I guess HP figured out that their are 3 kinds of computer users out there. I have been told that the product is geared for those individuals that want a simple solution to computer without having all the bells and whistles, bugs and viruses associated with Windows. This is a very exciting time and may lead to other HP Apple ventures such as a possible foray into the gaming world. As they say if you can't beat em join em.
 
IMHO, this makes absolutely no sense. Remember that it was Jobs that killed the clones due to the clonemakers actually taking sales away from Apple as opposed to spreading more of the Mac to the masses. This would be a complete contradiction to what Jobs has done. Mind you, I thought killling the clones was a bad idea as Apple should have instead come up with machines that were as competitive if not superior to what the clonemakers released, but that's moot now. In reality, Apple was being cannibalized and I DOUBT that Stevie would want history to repeat itself.

As for the iPod, remember that all HP is doing is redistributing Apple's iPod for Windows, not making it's own version of the iPod. I doubt that HP will be redistributing G5s, iBooks, etc. since that would be a conflict of interest with sales of their PCs.

We'll see what happens down the road...

Umm, BTW.....do you have a link to a site stating this??? I only ask because all of this information had to come from somewhere...
 
I would rather Apple design computers for HP seeing as they are lacking in the color scheme or useability. Maybe brushed metal! Ta dah!
 
YEAH WHAT MAKES IT OFFICAL...Yet to see a Link... *waits* And i don't like hearing "the iPod by HP" on my damn TV IN THOSE DAMN COMMERICALS. i mean HP DIDN"T MAKE the damn iPod. GRRR

What you just said was completely moronic and unfouded. It's not speculation, nor is it rumor, and it is most definitely not "official." You are absolutely not an authority, and just because it comes out of your mouth does not make it official. I'm starting to think that you have barely reached the ripe age of 10 by the level of immaturity and ridiculousness that you demonstrate.

Give us a link to support your idiotic speculations or shut the hell up. It's gone way past annoying, and is starting to be a distraction to the normal goings-on of this forum.

I'm going to start a poll -- if HP doesn't release Mac OS X for their PCs in January, I vote we kick mi5moav off the board for good. I'd rather have 100 trolls in here than read another ridiculous speculation from mi5moav.

In addition, mi5moav, you need to take some basic English courses and learn how to properly begin and end a sentence, as well as learn how to break up your ideas into paragraphs so that when someone reads your posts it's easily identifiable as English.

You can't write, you can't defend your idiocracy, and you continually amaze us with wild speculation that is completely unfounded and ridiculous. You say things like "HP figured out there are 3 kinds of computer users" and then you completely forget to list the 3 kinds of computer users... were you trying to make a point, or just being an idiot?

I don't care if this post gets me a reprimand, nor do I care if it gets me banned (I've personally attacked you in this post -- I fully realize that and really don't care what consequenses come of it). This is not the same macosx.com that we came to know and respect now that you're member here... it's sunk to a new low. Thanks a million, bud. You've turned a great, helpful, informative, high-class forum into your own personal dream-like fantasy land and pissed a lot of people off in the process. Including me.
 
take it back stage, if you have personal conflict keep it on a personal level and not out in public... especially if you are derailing threads to have your conflict of interests...

im sure the forum's mod will be by soon ;)
