Windows Media Player Clips

What do I have to do to get Windows Media Player video clips, say from CNN, to view on the MacBook Pro? Every time I click on one, I get a "Plug-In Warning", an option to "Get the Player" (which doesn't work). Oh, yeah: I'm using Safari.

Any suggestions?

Win Media Player is not supported on the Mac now.
Download and install Flip4Mac, which might do what you want.

The best chance is to Get Info for your Safari (Control-click on Safari, and choose Get Info from the menu that drops down. Click on the box 'Open with Rosetta', and close that box. Then, launch Safari. Safari will now launch under Rosetta, and older plug-ins (most are not universal, or Intel-coded) should work. Safari will be slightly slower, but probably not noticeable in most uses.

Unfortunately, Flip4Mac won't install on the intels. Wonder how long it will be before they release it in universal code.
