Wireless Dsl, slow down speed

Hello,

I am currently having trouble with my down speed. I did check my speed and it was about 1/12th of what i expected. Curiously my up speed is great as usual, and other computers on the same network (pc running linux) are getting normal speeds. There are no major downloads going on. I am quite confused and it looks like it's my computer. Anyone any idea?

What kind of computer? What brand of router and/or modem? What operating system version? What browser?

Please elaborate... I don't think you've given us enough information about your setup to be able to make an educated guesses as to what's going on.
 
sorry for not checking back. don't know what happened, but speeds are back to normal. thanks anyway.
