Which manufacturers make them for mac or are airport cards the only ones you can get? Reason being that I have just upgraded to 802.11g but only have an 802.11b card :(

Cheers

Lucky you... last month I had to look hard for a compatiable PCI card. Orangeware doesnt work that well so I dont recommend it. After three different cards inserted and not working at all, I finally found Linksys's card ( Wireless-G PCI Adapter with SpeedBooster WMP54GS) worked right out of the box. I have almost the exact same set up as you (Power Mac G4 with Sonnet, etc etc) and I had to do nothing else other than install the PCI card itself.

Make sure you get the speedbooster kind- the regular kind without the speedbooster won't work due to the chipset thingy. Dont ask me to explain :)

Best of luck- I'm sure you live near a Best Buy or something- just go out there and get it!
