WRT54G v6 stops responding

I've just bought a WRT54G version 6.0 with firmware 1.00.9 with (Canadian) Rogers Cable internet and a SB5101 cable modem.

I notice that, after an undetermined amount of time (when I'm away at the office) my router stops routing to the internet and becomes unresponsive to the admin panel from the wired LAN (I have wifi admin disabled) but the lights flash when I ATTEMPT to access things.

The only remedy is to power cycle the router.

Anyone else have this problem ?
