xterm color combination

Hello,

I tend to work a lot in the xterm. After long hours, I find that the white background can be quite tiring on the eyes. Can anyone please suggest something, a background/text color combination for less strain on the eyes.
I know that this can be largely a matter of preference, but I wanted to ask anyway.

Black, slightly transparent background, with near-white text. I can work like that for hours.

I believe in Snow Leopard there's a preset in the Terminal preferences called "Pro." A few slight tweaks to that one and I'm happy.
