yahoo mail on mac mail

Hi there,
Im trying to set up my apple mail with my yahoo account.
I'm encountering problems conjuring yahoo mail w macfreepops. I downloaded and installed macfree pops... I put the incoming mail server 127.0.0.1 as directed and changed the port in the advance tab to 2000 as well.
I've read all the bits on their website and read some blogs but still not working,

any ideas?
 
Satcomer, what sgetti is using is a plugin called MacFreePops that tricks the free yahoo mail server into thinking that Mail app is accessing yahoo mail as if it was reading it off their webmail service. So this is for the free yahoo account, not the paid pop service.

Sgetti, did you find any solutions? I'm in the exact same boat as you are - followed what instructions there were and nothing's happening for me.

Ok! I got it working:)

Everything is setup just fine. The thing you have to do is:

Right-click (or Ctrl+Click) on your yahoo mailbox on the mailbox panel and select "Take Yahoo!Mail online", where "Yahoo!Mail" is the name you have given to the mailbox.
