Your iPod Capacities....

Understood, but that's just the way it is... an SUV may be advertised as having 30 cubic feet of interior space, but if you fill up every last cubic foot of space, can you still drive it?
 
If you have DiskWarrior, it helps keeps iPods running smooth (in my experience using it with a number of iPods).
 
it runs fine now.... it has since i left open about 700MB. it's really enough.

they really should change the design though. it's iconic, but so dated now - apple are supposed to be cutting edge. it should be more like the mini - or the PowerG5/cinema display designs. or something just better!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Why change something iconic so quickly? Like the mini? You mean smaller? The iPod mini then the iPod shuffle.

Like the cinema display designs? WTF?
