I would like to know how to join two partition. I have MAC OS X has two partition.

Macintosh HD (43.0 GB) and Untitled (31.2 GB)

I would like to convert into one full partion only. Any step by step help will be higly appreciated.

Hi - I have a 2003 256k 1GHz G4 iMac and have experienced the same problems that you did several years ago. Was it easy to install the new RAM and did you have further problems that you can remember?

Hey Jeff. You provided some very helpful info to a user here who was having problems launching Safari. I've had my MacBook now for about 2 years and never had a problem. All of a sudden, yesterday my Safari closed out and I wasn't able to relaunch it after; kept shutting down before even opening or would give me the "unexpected error" message. I read here that you suggested a user create a new user account and see if Safari launches. And if so, then the problem is probably a "Preference" or enhancement file of some sort. I used AppCleaner to completely uninstall Safari and then reinstalled Safari, and that didn't work. But when I took your advice and created the new account, Safari launched. So hmmmm, any assistance you can offering in finding those preference or enhancement files you stated would be so helpful! This is soo frustrating!

anyone who can help please i have just installed wireless router dlink d1 624 it works fine till i unplug from mains then it goes down but when i plug power back in ti kicks in again battery level on laptop shows full any ideas please d.j.b

You probably want to post that in the general forum with your machine specifications. Your problem is that you need to boot your computer off your Installation disk. There are threads on how to deal with the password problem. You may have to get an external DVD player if your machine will boot on an external DVD.

We have an iMac (with OS 9 and 10.3.9) which doesn't have an internal DVD drive. I'm trying to update to 10.4 using an external DVD drive. But when I restart the comp to boot up from the 10.4 DVD, it boots up in OS 9. I cannot select the external DVD as the startup disk at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
