Well, what one's major is says nothing about their computer skills... I mean, you don't have to be a CS student or graphic designer to gain the right to have an opinion on Macs. However, this particular individual seems very uninformed. ;)

Just in case I've missed something, is there any more basis for the rumours about a 13,3" inch ibook than before? Hasn't this rumour been around for about 2 years already?

I might add to this conversation, that I for one am about to buy my first iPod, and unless something makes me change my mind, it will be an iPod nano. I wouldn't of bought the Mini, since I didn't consider the difference in size between the normal iPod and the mini to be enough to justify paying...

Why would anyone care whether the finder was programmed using cocoa or carbon? It's the end result that matters. The fact that it's carbon is not the reason for it being so crappy, I think this has been gone over quite a few times. :)

I'd tend to agree as well. Although it would make sense for them to hurry the update to support all the Tiger stuff.

I don't see the connection either - WMP 10 has a very different UI. It's also the nicest to date and certainly an improvement over WMP 9 at least GUI-wise.

Most certainly there will be a 2 GHz iMac, but unlikely before the PowerMacs are upgraded. 23" would be pushing the limit, though...
