I can't seem to find instructions on the proper way of making a copy of a CD (using the utility, Disk Copy). With most burning programs you can make an "disk image" - ISO file, then when you burn the ISO, it extracts it. A good way to make sure all your files (and hidden files) are not lost...

Yea, I was able to repair permissions, but I'm still getting the Office error. I have an education version of Office X 10.0.0, and there's no "uninstall" utlility anywhere on the CD. so yea, I basically just dragged it to the trash.

Thanks ... but it didn't work :( I'm wondering why I can't just wipe Office X out completely and start over fresh. grr!

I want to add an additional hard drive to my G4. Is it possible to use an IDE hard drive from a PC? I dont want take a chance and fry my computer if there's any slight chance they're incompatible. Thanks in advance

I'm thinking about ordering the 1.25ghz Powerbook, but I want to wait until they start to ship them with 10.3 installed, or at least include the software. Do you think they will? or will I just have to purchase it @ $20? I'm a Mac newbie, so upgrading OS software makes me nervous!
