I have this card for my PC, it truly excels when you whack on AA and AF where it really puts the high bandwidth to it's advantage.

I'd like to see someone get this avi working on a mac...

Hmm, seems this is the codec: http://idisk.mac.com/dazzla/Public/MPEG4.jpg Even though I thought I had that installed. Does anyone know how to get that particular file working? Or even a windows tool to convert it?

The codecs are all up to date, I'm no mug when it comes to getting this sort of thing to work. I've never had any problems before. It's an MPEG4 codec but it doesn't seem to be a standard one. It plays in windows without any additional installs.

I know the whole AVI situation on OS X is pretty farcical, but this takes the cookie. I've gotten everything I've wanted to, to work so far on OS X but this one simply doesn't want to play ball. I've installed a load of codecs: 3ivx Divx 5 MS MPEG4 1 MS MPEG4 2 FFMpeg Evey time I try...

    I N K W E L L

It appears in the control panel when you attach a compatible device such as a Wacom tablet. That picture, the icons are Rendezvous, Quartz Extreme, Inkwell and Windows compatibilty. So you probably won't see those icons floating around in general use. Although they are there somewhere, I've...

    Problems accessing iDisk

Ok, I can't access iDisk from the finder or the iDisk utility, although it correctly identifies how much space I have left. The username and password is correct although it says it isn't. I know it's correct because a) the iDisk utility correctly identifies how much space I have left, and b)...

Gaming on an iMac / eMac?

I've played both of then very successfully on my iMac with 700MHz G4 and 512mb Ram. You'll be looking at around 40+ fps on both games maxed out.

Well a little update, it seems I can't access any iDisk from my mac. Not my own or my friends. I have tested my friends iDisk and it still comes up with incorrect username password. In the finder the error is instant, as if it's not doing anything. In iDsk utility I get the beach ball for...

Woo hoo hoo! "Clean install" back in OS X 10.2!

I'm pretty sure that the animated folder icons would be referring to the operation of spring loaded folders. When you drag a file onto a folder for all that spring loaded goodness, the closed folder icon changes to an open folder icon. I think that's the extent of it.

Well, it seems that the free space meter is working fine in the iDisk utility but I still can't view the iDisk, it really is a strange problem: http://idisk.mac.com/dazzla/Public/idisk1.jpg Anyway, some good new on the Jag pricing for UK customers...
