I'd like to point out that clustered systems are the most common architecture on the Top 500 supercomputer list, and the majority of those systems were probably not installed by volunteers.

Even if VT had had to pay all those helping set up the suprcomputer, it would have still turned out to be significantly cheaper than a custom supercomputer of similar power...

Xcode doesn't like Java all that much. For example, errors and warnings are only shown in the "Detailed Build Results", rather than the errors and warning group thingy of the main project window.

I have almost the exact same problem as Macman, I'm sharing my Airport connection through a hub to another machine. AFAIK I entered the same settings I had under Jaguar, but it's not working...

One thing that's not included in the developer preview is FileVaults. And if there really are 100 new features, many more have been held back (what ever happened to piles? anyone think they might stil make it into Panther?)

I tried installing it on Jag too, no good. And the file say Panther...

I have the exact same problem. I left it running for more than an hour, and it still had that same message. Hope somebody figures this out soon!
