    You can get Word from any online store (store.apple.com etc..) that sells apple software. PDF is readable by any device that has a reader program. Mac, PC, PDA and even some phone models. Create a pdf by opening your cv and press apple + p. Then click save as pdf. Done.

    You will need to either get ISDN or talk through your mac to do both at the same time. The problem is, I don't know how to talk through your mac... And if adsl or cable is not supported, I don't think ISDN is.

    You can set the logout time, or completely disable automatic-logout in the security preferences. To go there: Apple menu -> System Preferences ... ->Personal(The category) -> Security There is the setting you want to change.
